Stephanie Parrish, OD
Dr. Stephanie Parrish has practiced optometry in the Brainerd Lakes area with her husband and four boys for over 10 years. She grew up in North Dakota where she received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota.
Dr. Parrish attended Pacific University where she received her Doctorate of Optometry degree and served as president of her class. Since graduating, she has been a member of the American Optometric Association and served as the co-chair of the MN State Education Committee for several years. Dr. Parrish was awarded the Minnesota Optometric Association's Young Optometrist of the Year award for 2014.
Most recently in 2018, the American Optometric Association has chosen Dr. Parrish as the national award recipient for the Dr. W. David Sullins Jr. InfantSEE Award. Having performed hundreds of no cost InfantSEE eye exams for infants under one year of age, Dr. Parrish has become well known in the area as a trusted eye care provider for families with children. She has spoken around the region to school nurses, mom’s groups, ECFE classes, as well as physicians about the importance of infant and children’s eye care.
Dr. Parrish loves to spend time with her family, travel, garden, go camping, hunt, fish and exercise. As a family they attend a local church where she teaches Sunday School. They love to camp and are planning a trip to Yellowstone this summer.
